City Glass Welcomes New Ownership Team
Summerside, PE: Confederation M&A is pleased to announce the successful ownership transition of City Glass, a well-established commercial and residential glass installation company based in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. The business will now be led by Patrick Keefe and Ryan Pineau, with founder Dennis Pineau remaining active in the company for the foreseeable future.
Dennis Pineau launched his career in the glass industry in 1993 with the opening of Novus Auto Glass in Summerside. By the late 1990s, he pivoted from automotive glass into building-focused glass services, opening the door to broader opportunities in both the commercial and residential construction sectors.
Today, City Glass has become a trusted name across PEI, with approximately 90% of its work focused on commercial projects. The company supplies, installs, and repairs a wide range of products, including commercial and residential custom glass installation, commercial storefronts, automatic sliding doors, accessible door openers, custom glass showers, patio glass railings and doors, UV protection and window tinting, glass tabletops, shelving, and more.
Ryan Pineau has been working in the business since 2011 and will now join Patrick Keefe as a co-owner. Both bring strong industry knowledge and a shared commitment to maintaining the company’s long-standing reputation for quality and reliability.
