Windsor Court Brings on New Owners
Fredericton, NB: Windsor Court retirement residence has been transitioned to new owners, effective January 31st, 2020. The previous owners, a group of investors represented by Robert Smith, General Partner, announced today that they have transitioned the business to new owners Adam and Marsha Doiron, Prince Edward Island-based entrepreneurs, and Marcel Ogon, current General Manager of Windsor Court, and his wife Denise. The business will operate under the name Windsor Court Retirement Residence (2020) Ltd. and business will continue as before.
Windsor Court opened its doors to first residents in Fredericton over thirty years ago. The top rated 89-unit retirement residence features large private suites and modern amenities including a fully equipped wellness centre, 24/7 healthcare services, and outdoor green spaces.
“We’re pleased to be transitioning the ownership of Windsor Court to new owners who are experienced and ready for the role” says Smith. “We are particularly pleased to see our General Manager, Marcel Ogon, who started with us twenty years ago, moving into a larger ownership role. His continued involvement throughout the transition ensures Windsor Court will remain one of Fredericton’s first-class retirement residences” he added.
New owner Adam Doiron, Co-Founder and former CEO of Coach Atlantic Group, together with his wife Marsha Doiron, current President/Founder of Level Up Consulting & Training, have a keen interest in real estate investments in the Maritimes and are excited to be investing in a Fredericton-based business. “We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to become owners of Windsor Court” says Doiron. “It’s especially exciting to be able to operate the business alongside Marcel Ogon, who brings decades of experience and a close relationship with staff and residents”.
Ogon is similarly excited for the next phase of ownership. “We relish the opportunity to increase our ownership share and commitment to the continued success of Windsor Court” he says. “We are fully aware what has made Windsor Court such a success story and we plan to carry on that path with the same dedicated, talented, and hard-working team that got us here” he adds.
