Confederation M&A have welcomed Charles Ackerman as the newest member of their growing team effective July 1. As a Strategic Advisor, Charles will be the firm’s main representative in Nova Scotia.
Ackerman is a CPA, CA with extensive experience in corporate finance and development of high growth companies. Charles has successfully lead mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and private and public capital raises. He has served in a number of finance and corporate leadership roles developing and executing growth strategies, with private and public companies and family offices across Canada.
During time in public accounting practice, Charles spent several years with a boutique accounting firm, focused on providing diverse advisory and compliance services to small to mid-market businesses. Charles was also part of the corporate finance team at a national firm, providing valuation and transaction advisory services for small to mid-market companies based in Atlantic Canada.

Charles proudly resides in Halifax with his wife Sarah. They spend as much time as they can by the ocean at their family cottage in the South Shore of Nova Scotia, where they first met.
